My name is Nathan Wiebe and I am the founder and writer of the Eat.Exercise.Live.Differently Blog. I currently live in an igloo in Edmonton Alberta Canada, I am health and lifestyle strategist who loves experimenting with different ways of living, and my mission in life is to help people save themselves from a life of mediocrity. Sometimes you have to be your own hero so I do my best to provide the tools and resources that will lead you towards a complete lifestyle upgrade.
If there is an easier, faster, and more efficient way of doing something, I’m going to find it and do it. It just turns out that the most optimal ways of doing things is usually the exact opposite of what the common knowledge is.
Before this blog my life, like most peoples, was on the fast track to mediocrity. I went to school which I hated, I had dead end jobs, a shitty diet, and I was very insecure about my body. “Go to school, get a job”. “You want to be healthy? Eat less and exercise more”. Or ” you want to put on muscle? No pain no gain! You better start exercising longer and harder than everyone else!” Well it turns out that this “common knowledge” is completely wrong.
When you think about where this “common knowledge” is coming from which is either your elders, who grew up without the internet, probably didn’t read a whole lot, and only got their information from the news, or it comes from giant corporations that are trying to figure out ways to keep you unhealthy and depressed just so you will keep buying their products. Once you understand this, then you’ll soon start to realize that maybe doing the opposite isn’t such a crazy idea after all.
So Why the Eat.Exercise.Live.Differently Blog?
The one and only goal of this blog is to help YOU the reader craft a better life. It turns out that designing a life that you’re excited to get out of bed for is a lot easier than you think. This blog will teach you how to set up the right systems and habits that, if you stick with them, will pay MASSIVE dividends later on in the form up incredible health, tremendous fitness, and unbelievable freedom. It’s taken me a long time to figure out these systems, to hack them, and to optimize them and make them as easy to follow as possible. This is all the information I wish someone had given me earlier in life. This is your opportunity to stand on my shoulders and to being creating your life instead of letting someone else create it for you.
